The International Commodities Summit partners with Project CBNews to launch its first exhibition in Cape Town – 18–20 November 2025

Vereeniging, South Africa — ProjectCBNews is proud to announce its official partnership with the International Commodities Summit (ICS)—a dynamic new platform that brings together leaders from across the global commodities value chain to shape the future of trade, transformation, and economic inclusion in Africa and beyond.

Set to take place from 18 to 20 November 2025 at the Cape Town International Convention Centre, the inaugural ICS will convene influential voices from mining, agriculture, energy, logistics, finance, and policymaking. Through curated exhibitions, high-level panels, and strategic networking opportunities, the Summit seeks to build new bridges between innovation, sustainability, and inclusive economic growth.

This collaboration between ProjectCBNews and ICS reflects a shared vision: to elevate meaningful dialogue and foster real action at the intersection of global trade and community transformation. ICS is not just a marketplace—it is a movement toward reimagining how resources, capital, and influence flow through African economies.

As part of the Summit’s flagship programming, ProjectCBNews will moderate a panel discussion moderated by Kalnisha Singh, a Development Economist and Strategic Industrial & Economic Transformation Specialist. With over two decades of experience in advancing systemic change across sectors—from mining and renewables to the automotive and public sectors—Kalnisha is well placed to ask pertinent questions such as: What does value look like in a transformed, African-led economy?

ProjectCBNews and ICS are aligned in their commitment to:

  • Amplifying emerging and underrepresented voices in the commodities conversation

  • Challenging extractive and outdated economic models

  • Catalysing ideas that link industry impact with community value

  • Enabling intergenerational dialogue and leadership

“This is more than a summit—it’s a strategic pivot point,” says the ProjectCBNews founder, Carlett Badenhorst. “It’s a space for bold thinkers, future-makers, and community-grounded innovators to come together and chart a new way forward.”

Join us as we unpack global trends, explore next-gen innovations, and connect with thought leaders driving transformation across Africa and the world.
