Raw sewage is running down the street at the corner of Piet Retief and Ring road in Arconpark, in the Emfuleni district. It has been running for weeks. *Lucky is assigned to fix this sewage pipe but can't do his job because he does not get help from his seniors. The problem comes from pump station 12, where there is a broken pipe. Residents complained, but these complaints are falling on death's ears. Numerous phone calls where made, but with no response to the water waste department. The rainy season is here and worsens the matter. Will Emfuleni hear the people's cry for service delivery in this regard? Or will we hear another excuse for not delivering basic needs for a city?
