Swinging for a Cause: CSR Golf Day to Fundraise for Play Park in Midvaal's Ward 14
This weekend, golf enthusiasts and community supporters alike will come together at the Meyerton Golf Course for a day of swings, putts, and goodwill at the CSR Community Social Responsibility Golf Day. Scheduled for Friday 10th of Nov at 11:00, this event aims to raise funds for a noble cause - the construction of a play park in Vlei Park, Ward 14 of Midvaal.
The proposed play park, situated in Pierneef Blvd, Meyerton, across from the Sasol garage, is a community-driven initiative to provide a safe and enjoyable space for children and families. The CSR Golf Day is a pivotal step in turning this vision into reality.
Participants have the option to register for the 4 ball/2 better ball stableford tournament for R1200, offering a day of friendly competition and camaraderie. Alternatively, individuals or businesses can contribute by sponsoring a hole for R1000, showing their commitment to community development.
The day promises not only a thrilling golf experience but also a chance to make a lasting impact on the local community. Following the tournament, a light dinner will be held during the prize-giving ceremony, providing an opportunity for participants to share stories and celebrate the success of the fundraising efforts.
Ward 14 of Midvaal invites everyone, from avid golfers to those passionate about community development, to join hands in making a difference. Let's swing for a cause and build a brighter future for the children of Vlei Park.
