The day was celebrated with festive activities as the church celebrated 70 years of Grace. They had activities and singing for young and old. After the service, the congregants came together to have some potjiekos, fat cakes, and loads of laughter and jokes, with some ice cream to end a festive time.

The congregants shared some stories and memories of when they started to attend church. During the 70 years, they have lost some people and gained some. There were tough times and roses with sunshine, but through it, all God was gracious to the people.NG Olyfdal had two short films released in 2021, during the Covid-19 period. Rev Van Zyl is currently leading NG Olyfdal Meyerton.
